An interdisciplinary interventiom model and an integrated approach
La Maison Bleue helps pregnant women and their families living in situations of vulnerability. Its mission is to reduce social inequalities and to promote the optimal development of the child, from the time of their mother's pregnancy until the age of 5.
This human scale intervention model promotes a positive experience of pregnancy, childbirth and parenthood; stopping the isolation; and providing families with tools to support their well-being and that of their children.
La Maison Bleue’s Philosophy
We believe that every child should be born and grow up surrounded by joy and with the promise of a full life, nourished with solidarity, confidence, as well as rediscovered and honored strengths.
The 3 pillars of the approach in social perinatal care:
Despite all the difficulties that they may encounter, families are capable of raising their child and, when surrounded by a community, they find unexpected strengths.
By offering all our services under one roof, we successfully create a harmonious environment where trust and collaboration allow us to offer support that is both tailored and efficient.
La Maison Bleue aims to offer women a framework which respects their autonomy and on which they can lean to bring their child to the world.
Therefore, families benefit from a portage that stops the isolation and values the knowledge inherited from their original culture.
In this context, La Maison Bleue becomes a reassuring home base where families come to seek care and counseling at their own pace, knowing that their autonomy is respected and valued.
