Alongside several other partner organizations, La Maison Bleue is benefiting from $8.5M in funding under the <em>Justice Citoyens<\/em> agreement, deployed by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quebec.ca\/nouvelles\/actualites\/details\/lancement-de-lappel-daide-financiere-pour-les-juristes-communautaires-67146\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">minist\u00e8re de la Justice<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnq.org\/la-chambre-et-votre-protection\/subventions\/justice-citoyens-programme-daide-financiere-pour-favoriser-lacces-a-la-justice\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Chambre des notaires<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.barreau.qc.ca\/fr\/ordre\/aide-financiere-commandite\/justice-citoyens\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Barreau du Qu\u00e9bec<\/a>. This collective project dedicated to hiring community lawyers will allow us to continue providing legal support to the families supported across our 5 sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks to this valuable three-year financial support, we are able to ensure a stable, reassuring, and professional presence at the heart of our community settings to inform, support, and advise families on current or future legal situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Proximity Legal Support in Social Perinatal Care<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For families living in vulnerable situations, accessing justice can be complex. Integrating tailored, personalized, and humane legal support directly into our service offering helps to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Foster a sense of security and stability for parents starting in pregnancy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Welcome legal needs (family law, youth protection, housing) with compassion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Care for the family unit by providing a solid anchor in the face of administrative challenges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Thanking the Partners of Our Supportive Village<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This community lawyers project would not be possible without the concerted vision of our institutional partners.
